Born Again Bulldogges is a family owned & operated kennel and when I say family, I mean family! Our team is made up of me, my wife Debi and our 3 grown kids. We are currently located in Houston, TX but are expecting to expand our operation in the near future.
We have been involved with several different dog breeds over the past 25 years, but have turned all of our attention to Olde English Bulldogges in the last three. We began our program with 3 dogs, 2 females and a male, who have formed the foundation of our program. We currently have 10 dogs that not only make up our kennel, but bring extreme joy to our lives.
Each of our breedings is carefully planned by doing extensive research on both the sires and dams to optimize the offspring. We have three of our dogs on the brink of reaching championship status and have several others accumulating points working towards that goal.
At our most recent show, our Texas Outlaw’s Lady Matilda won a Best of Breed award. Not to be outdone, Born Again Bulldogge’s Pixie Dust took home the overall honors that same weekend as the 2011 UCA National Champion Olde at a mere 9 months. We were understandably ecstatic at winning the award and were especially proud that she was shown by our daughter, Devyn.
We currently have puppies on the ground and were blessed with a litter of 13. At 9 weeks old, we call them our baker’s dozen! They are from the pairing of our Lady Matilda and Carrera’s Demon Tank of Texas Star bullies. Tank is a Blue Tri so all of the pups carry the blue and the tri genes.
We are now also a local dealer for Victor Dog Food. After comparing many different brands, we decided that Victor was the best on the market and is much easier on the wallet too. No corn, wheat, soy or gluten. You can find our pet food lines at www.bornagainpetfoods.com.
I am retiring in June after 32 years on the force as a Houston Police Officer. Debi is also retiring from her career at this time too. We are planning on relaxing (as much as you can) and devoting our time to raising quality Olde English Bulldogges.
Thanks and Keep on Bulldoggin’,
David & Debi Jones
